Insiders sell for a hundred reasons. They buy for one.

Every trade below is a code-P open-market purchase pulled from a federal Form 4 filing — an executive, director, or major holder spending personal cash on their own company. Grants, options, and routine sales never make this page.

Signal of the week · $AVO

One fund has spent all month buying Mission Produce.

Globalharvest Holdings Venture Ltd already owned more than 10% of the avocado grower. In July alone it filed three more Form 4s — every one an open-market buy.

Why this one ranks first. Size alone doesn't make a signal — this is conviction stacked three ways: a holder who already knows the company intimately, buying on consecutive days, at rising prices. Paying more today than yesterday and buying anyway is the tell.

Eighteen separate Form 4s from this buyer since November 2025, per EDGAR's full-text index. July's three alone total $24.09M of personal capital.

Scoreboard · every signal, graded

We grade our own tape. Wins and losses both.

Every buy we flag stays on this board with the insider's entry price against the latest market price. No deleting the losers. Insiders are often early — they buy on a horizon of years, not weeks — so read this as a track record in progress, not a verdict.

Methodology

Hundreds of filings a day. Almost all of them are noise.

Federal law gives insiders two business days to report any trade in their company's stock. We read every report and apply three rules.

  1. Only real money counts.

A Form 4 transaction carries a one-letter code. We keep exactly one: P — an open-market purchase with the insider's personal cash. Everything granted, exercised, withheld, or gifted is discarded.

  2. Size is measured against the buyer, not the market.

A $200k buy that doubles a director's stake says more than a fund topping up 1%. Conviction weighs dollar value, the buyer's role, and how much the purchase grows their existing position.

  3. Every number links to its federal source.

No tips, no estimates, no anonymous accounts. Each row on the Tape carries the SEC accession of the filing it came from. If you doubt a number, click it and read the government record.

Terminal
$59.99/mo
The machine itself — never more than 100 members
  • Everything in Desk, plus:
  • Real-time push — minutes after filing, before the crowd reads it
  • Insider hit rates — the ranked database of which buyers are actually right. Terminal-only, permanently
  • Data export — full tape & scoreboard as CSV / API
  • Watchlist — unlimited, custom alert rules
Why the cap: a speed edge shared by everyone is an edge for no one. Terminal stays at 100 members so what it sees stays early. When it fills, the only way in is the waitlist — and the price never rises for a seat you already hold.
